Please understand that we can not be held responsible for improper storage once the tuber is in your possession. With so many factors including starting procedure, weather & growing conditions and pest damage; we cannot be held responsible for your plants performance. We are unable to offer refund/store credit or replacements after 7 days.

Managing diseases (gall) and virus:The dahlia tuber world is full of diseases and virus' that can plague your crop and beloved plants. Over the first few years at Roam, multiple new tubers we brought in had gall - it was disappointing and frustrating. We now refuse to bring in new stock and haven’t since 2022. This is one of the reasons we started growing dahlias from our own seed and hybridizing new varieties. We are striving to maintain the highest level of health for our dahlias. We pay close attention to our soil health, watering practices and use fertilization & foliar nutrient sprays appropriately.

Since we began, we have learned, developed and researched best practices and we constantly check our stock for signs of pests, disease (gall) or viruses at every step of our process. From waking up/eyeing up tubers before sending out, checking multiple times per week during field walks/harvest and finally checking again at digging, dividing and storing; we keep a keen eye on our stock. We disinfect our snips constantly between dividing to make sure we don’t spread anything between varieties before storing. We will continue to maintain our efforts so that you can trust in our product. Growing dahlias on mass for the public is a hard job and we are continually learning and adjusting our practices to create the best product that we can for you.

Shipping:We will start shipping on April 20th or when there is no risk of freezing temperatures. We will process orders in the sequence that we receive them. Please be patient, our team is small and we will do our best to get your order out as fast as possible. Thank you so much for your support.
