Roam Flora is a solar powered flower & seed farm located on the west side of Ottawa, Canada. Started in 2019 by Laura Langford and Dawson Hamilton, Roam Flora was born from a passion to get outside, connect with nature, and a desire to share and educated the public on the beauty and sustainability of local bloom. Roam Flora is now growing approximately 2 acres of unique varieties of cut flowers and foliage and is working hard to build healthier soil and biodiversity within their land.

 

What to expect in 2025

As we enter our 7th year at Roam we are so excited to continue to build our flower breeding program and increase our seed and tuber production. We started harvesting multiple varieties of seed and hybridizing dahlias in 2021 and a passionate interest has been growing steadily since. In 2025, we will be reducing our cut flower offerings to make more room for seed crops so we can increase volume and better share the beauty of what we grow with all of Canada. 

Of course we love to share fresh locally grown flowers too and we will offer two subscriptions this season.  Peonies in June and Dahlias in September. We'll also offer a Mother's day bundle of our speciality daffodils packaged up with some of our seeds, just in time for spring! 

Our Dahlia tuber sale will launch March 26th at noon EST. 

Seeds are currently shipping out every Tuesday and we'll increase that to 3 times weekly in March. 

Unfortunately, we will not be offering our DIY buckets in 2025 but please do subscribe to our e-newsletter to stay in the loop on everything else happening this year.

Please Note: the farm is currently closed to the public.

We hope to run workshop in the near future but we will no longer be running "Pick your own" experiences.
