During this you will learn how to harvest a variety of blooms we grow and why we love them as cut flowers. We will show you how we grow, harvest, and process properly; plus provide you with some extra fun facts along the way :)
After learning our processes, you will put your new knowledge to work and harvest 35 stems of your choosing to take home, enjoy and/or share with your loved ones.
This workshop starts at 9 am and runs for approximately 1-2 hours depending on how quickly you harvest your blooms.
What to bring/wear:
- Closed-toe shoes (no sandals please)
- Floral snips if you have a favourite pair; if not, we have some you can borrow or buy.
- Gardening gloves (optional)
- Dress for the weather, this workshop runs rain or shine!
Farm Location:
107 Mantil Side Road, off of Upper Dwyer Hill Road. We are at the very end of the road and you can't see our farm from Upper Dwyer so just keep driving :)
